I’m Jennifer, married to David for 16 wonderful years. We live in Texas with our 2 teens.
Our family loves to go on family vacations and we have a distinct love of all things Disney related. My husband and I suffer from Vegas-itis and try to get there at least once a year (sometimes twice!)
I love to cook and bake…I’m a self-proclaimed chef and food network enthusiast. My daughter and I are also vegan, while the rest of my family is not — so I’m always creating new vegged out ways to make our family favorites so that we don’t starve!

We were there at least once every summer and at some point during the school year. I continued the tradition when I had a child, but it’s been a while since I’ve been back. Have fun with your blog!

Thank you! We have a sickness..this is the first year since 2003 that we have not gone to Orlando for a vacation. We’re going to HI so that’s not a bad trade off but I’m still having withdrawal symptoms so I’ve been planning a quick trip around Thanksgiving. I think we’ll try Disneyland, I haven’t been there since 2002.

Thanks for visiting my blog. You are one busy lady! I can relate to your love of travel – we like to travel as well (but often don’t have the funds to go on a ‘nice’ vacation.) We did get to go to Hawaii (Maui) in April and it was gorgeous – I think you’ll like it. Vacations make memories and I think your children will have some good ones to take into adulthood 🙂

I used to hate the “go around the room” game that used to be done at work functions, meetings etc. where you tell them something they don’t’ know. I’m just not all that interesting so it’s hard to come up with something.

Oh yes, I completely understand! I have never been a fan of those ‘getting to know you’ games. Although, I am sure that you are much more interesting than you give yourself credit for 🙂

In several of the environments in which I had to “play” that game, people would come up with things like “I climbed Mt. Everest once..” or “I died once and came back to life” or “I can speak 57 languages fluently”… made me wonder if I should’ve just made s*** up too.

Thanks for visiting our blog. We used to have a doggie sister but she went over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this year. We do have doggie friends living by us and we love to play with them. Mom says we think we’re part dogs! Mom said to tell you that she’s been to Disneyland several times and Disneyworld, too. Then she said something about big mouse ears but we didn’t understand. Nice to meet you and we’ll enjoy reading about your adventures ‘cuz Mom won’t let us out of the back yard.
